You may not want a huge traditional Christmas party at an expensive venue with food, drinks, disco, and entertainment. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have a Christmas party at all. In this blog post we have put together some work Christmas party ideas. You can prepare and plan these yourself, but it does take time. Alternatively, we can prepare, set up and manage the work Christmas party on the day to save you the time-consuming tasks and stress. This allows you to continue keeping the business running while having an amazing works Christmas party planned for you in the background.

  • Decorating

At the beginning of December, you can have a team bonding exercise. Each team is supplied with a selection of decorations they can use to decorate a chosen area with their team. Your team will work together, getting into the Christmas spirit together too. We can arrange festive nibbles while decorating is taking place, and awards or prizes for best decorated space too.

  • Christmas Cookie Decorating

This is a really nice activity to keep the festive spirit going. It can be done during the team lunch break, on a Friday afternoon or after work for an hour or two. It’s a nice activity that brings the team together. This activity is also great fun too. No ovens are needed as we will bring the pre-baked cookies, icing, decorations, table coverings and more. For that added competitive spirit why not have a vote and prizes for the winner?

  • Care Home Carol Singing

Christmas is always a nice opportunity to consider others. Why not take the team to a local care home for some carol singing. Your team will love it, it’s great for the CSR of the brand and it will be enjoyed by residents of the care home too. You’ll find your employees return to the office with that warm feeling inside, which is always better for the office morale.

  • A Festive Photo Booth

This is a really nice activity that is great fun and supports team bonding throughout the season. It’s great for social media too. We can set up a photo booth in your office. This can be a professional photo booth (like the ones you see at weddings) or a space where selfies can be taken. There will be all sorts of fun props and backdrops. There will also be photo challenges that employees and teams can complete together. It’s a brilliant activity for social engagement and you can get customers, clients and suppliers involved too.
